use | for organic synthesis. Used for detergent synthesis and organic synthesis |
Production method | It is obtained by the reaction of n-decanol and phosphorus triiodide. Heat normal decanol, red phosphorus and iodine together to melt decanol, continue to heat to about 150 ℃, and stir for 5 hours. Cool to room temperature and extract with ether. After the extract is washed and dried, the ether is evaporated, the residue is distilled under reduced pressure, and the fraction at 220-225 ℃(2.93kPa) is collected to obtain the finished product. The yield is about 80%. |
